The City of Pearsall is currently accepting Applications for the following position:
Job title: Right of Way Crew Leader
Open Date: July 23 2025
Closing Date: August 06 2025
Job Type: Full Time/Non-Exempt
Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm (hours and days may vary)
Salary: Entry/Start level - $15.30 per hr.

Job Summary:
Under general supervision of the Parks/Building Maintenance Supervisor with minor supervisory work with the Right of Way Maintenance Workers. Provides direction to assigned laborers and performs a variety of tasks related to brush clearing semi-skilled and skilled maintenance work. Operates various equipment used in the operation repair maintenance and replacement of streets and gutters.
Minimum Qualifications / Acceptable Equivalency:
- Experience in different types of lawn care equipment (zero turn mowers weed eaters chainsaws etc.)
- Possess at least a valid Texas Class B Drivers License
- Willing to work on-call and overtime hours and maintain regular attendance on the job.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees other departments and the public
