Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

Assist in the financial analysis in support of Universal Creative construction project and the associated project team (examples include Project Director Technical Director Construction Manager etc.).

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support monthly project cost reporting and work with project team to validate project cost expectations. Able to populate models with the appropriate information based on SOP or direction.
  • Create earned value accrual templates and prepare standard journal entries. Ensure general ledger codes are appropriate for Project Settlements.
  • Ensure that monthly vendor billing forecasts are current for all contracts and are properly quality checked to align remaining work and in an appropriate Excel format.
  • Review audit and approve contract drafts contract change directives and invoices/payment applications related to project based off of SOP or direction.
  • Validate invoices have been received for all active vendors. Work with AP department to resolve billing issues.
  • Support the Finance team as needed with requested research and analysis based on direction from Supervisor.
  • Understand and actively participate in Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy procedures training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

Associates degree (AA) is required. Bachelors degree is preferred in Finance Accounting Business Economics Mathematics.

EXPERIENCE

1 years; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
