Key Responsibilities:Provide housing assistance to applicants and residents experiencing housing applicants and verify needed documentation in order to house new tenants and correctly process rental and maintain applications in SAC system and update applicant and resident information as applicant and resident inquiries regarding applications/waiting lists rental payments maintenance requests applicant and resident needs provide information initiate referrals and counsel households on available resources to promote housing retention and stability as well as healthy and safe living resident paperwork in accordance with VHAs policies and procedures for determination of family income rent computations adjustments and with delinquent residents to secure overdue rents and implement eviction proceedings if the Executive Director and Administrator with the development and implementation of resident programs aimed at enhancing financial literacy and economic self-sufficiency among other responsibilities as needed to support the operations of the :Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in an office or customer service in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).Strong organizational communication and interpersonal to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and in housing or social services is preferred but not to work independently with minimal oversight and as part of a to the mission and values of the Housing Authority of the City of Vidalia.
