Your Impact
As a Credit & Collections Manager you will play a vital role in coordination of all customer credit and accounts receivable collection activities consolidated reporting of customer credit exposures overdue accounts receivable and collections efforts. Your efforts will directly contribute to our companys success by ensuring our receivables are as up to date as possible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrate all customer credit and collections activities for the company.
  • Lead and manage a team of Credit & Collections Analysts to ensure seamless performance of the department including hiring training goal setting providing feedback etc.
  • Ensure consistent execution of approval protocols for new and existing customer credit limits.
  • Monitor customer credit holds and ensure they are actioned promptly and escalated to sales senior leadership and other stakeholders where required by protocol.
  • Ensure credit decisions and related customer evaluations are promptly executed and supported by relevant and objective third-party documentation.
  • Read interpret and analyze commercial and consumer credit reports from major credit bureaus and conduct in-depth research and financial analysis to assess customer creditworthiness identify risk factors and make informed credit decisions.
  • Support cash flow forecasting by providing accurate and timely accounts receivable projections analyzing payment trends and collaborating with Treasury to align credit and collection activities with cash management goals.
  • Develop and improve collections protocols to ensure timely collections and drive consistency across divisions with regard to customer experience and engagement.
  • Develop procedures to manage and track submission of invoices to customer billing portals.
  • Development and performance management of KPIs for the credit and collections team.
  • Provide consolidated AR aging customer credit utilization and watch lists to upper management on a weekly basis.
  • Collaborate with upper management on the development and implementation of company-wide credit management policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Controller on the preparation and update of bad debt reserves for financial reporting.
  • Collaborate across departments including Sales Operations Finance and Regulatory to resolve credit issues streamline processes and support business objectives.
  • Support of continuous improvement efforts related to invoicing customer service and accounting where related to core job responsibilities.
  • Retention and organization of key accounting records related to credit decisions and customer interactions.

Qualifications

What Youll Bring

  • Bachelors or associate degree
  • 5 years of related experience in accounting customer service or sales operations
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in bookkeeping ability to balance risk management with customer satisfaction
  • Strong understanding of MS Excel ERP software
  • Excellent attention to detail communication and time management skills
  • A proactive results-driven approach with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
