Scheduled Weekly Hours:
40Are you passionate about making a difference in patients lives Do you thrive in a supportive team environment Gundersen Emplify Health is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our La Crosse Urology department!
What is available:
1.0 40 hours/week
Monday - Friday 8-hour shifts between 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM
No weekend or holiday hours required
What you will do:
Provide LOVE MEDICINE to our patients by greeting them with a warm and welcoming smile and setting the tone for their appointments
Enjoy variety in your rolepre-visit planning medication refills and supporting nurses with in-basket work
Room patients take vitals and keep charting accurate and up-to-date
Collaborate with schedulers to ensure provider calendars run smoothly
Engage in hands on experience assisting providers with procedures and processing equipment
Partner with a team of providers medical professionals and managers who are here to support your success and that of our patients in their health journeys.

What you need:
Graduate of a Medical Assistant program Practical Nursing program or Vocational Nurse program or have completed education to be eligible for NCLEX-PN
Or
High School Diploma or equivalency and attained a Medical Assistant Certification
BLS for healthcare workers
