Job Summary:
This role involves providing skilled technical support in a cardiac catheterization laboratory within an acute care hospital setting. The Cath Lab Tech performs a variety of procedures assists in equipment setup and maintains infection control standards. The position requires a minimum of one year of experience and specific certifications. On-call responsibilities are required.

Responsibilities:
- Performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Assisting with cardiac implant closure devices stent placement and other procedures.
- Interpreting dysrhythmias and recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias.
- Maintaining sterile technique and adhering to infection control protocols.
- Setting up equipment and preparing patients for procedures.
- Charting patient information using Cerner.
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum one year of experience in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab.
- ACLS BLS ARRT and RCIS certifications.
- Proficiency in cardiac catheterization procedures (listed in input).
- Knowledge of equipment setup and sterile techniques.
- Ability to recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias.
- Experience with Cerner electronic health record system.
- Active license as a Cath Lab Tech (or equivalent).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with a wider range of cardiac procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
- Experience with various types of cardiac catheters and equipment.
Special Considerations:
- On-call responsibilities are required as needed.
- Three 12-hour day shifts per week (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM).
- Will work 2-3 weekends per contract.
- Maximum of 5 days of RTO restrictions.
- Client may call off up to 36 hours per 13-week assignment without penalty; additional call-offs will be billed.
- No floating to other areas within the facility.
- Schedule requests can be discussed with the manager.
- Must have active license; pending licenses are not accepted.
Scheduling:
- Three 12-hour day shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM).
- Two to three weekend shifts per contract.
- Schedule flexibility may be discussed with the manager.
