Job Description
Adelphi is seeking licensed Psychiatrists to deliver high-quality after-hours telepsychiatric services to adult patients in Galveston County Texas. Providers must be available for on-demand psychiatric evaluations medication management and urgent consultations via a secure HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform.

Requirements:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency program
Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry
Active unrestricted medical license in the State of Texas
Current DEA registration; DEA-X waiver strongly preferred
Experience in crisis psychiatry or acute behavioral health settings
Proficiency with telehealth technology and electronic health records (EHRs)
Availability for evening night weekend and holiday shifts
Strong clinical judgment decision-making and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
Perform remote psychiatric evaluations for adult patients in crisis
Initiate and manage medication treatment plans
Respond to consultation requests within 15 minutes during active shifts
Collaborate with on-site clinicians to ensure coordinated care and patient stabilization
Accurately document all encounters in the electronic health record (EHR)
Maintain compliance with all HIPAA state and federal guidelines
