Position Overview
System High Corporation delivers the most advanced protection and secrecy solutions to secure and strengthen critical missions programs operations and intelligence activities. We are seeking a CI Cyber Threat Technical Analyst (Level III) to join our team. This role supports the CI Cyber Branch by contributing to technical threat reports supporting forensic analysis and performing cyber inquiries that help identify evaluate and mitigate cyber threats.
The CI Cyber Threat Technical Analyst will ensure all processes activities and reports are completed accurately and on schedule while maintaining compliance with standard operating procedures and best practices.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
Supporting forensic reports CI cyber inquiries and monthly quarterly and annual CI Cyber Threat reports
Translating user and stakeholder needs into technical requirements
Analyzing network data to detect anomalous activity
Evaluating logs intrusion detection alerts and network security systems to assess threats
Preparing detailed written reports based on forensic findings
Investigating malware incidents and making mitigation recommendations
Supporting malware awareness products and delivering technical briefings
Collaborating with CI cybersecurity and forensic teams to improve threat awareness
Coordinating CI Cyber activities related to enterprise incident response events
Developing lessons learned best practices and process improvements
Liaising with Insider Threat CSOC and other NGA stakeholders to support CI Cyber mission
Forecasting threats and recommending countermeasures
Qualifications
Required:
Minimum of 7 years of network analysis experience
Ability to identify analyze and interpret network artifacts
Ability to obtain DoD 8570.01-M IA Level III certification within one year of assignment
Desired:
Credentialed graduate of an accredited federal or DoD CI training academy Bachelors or post-graduate degree in a STEM discipline
Possess DoD Cyber Crimes Investigator certification
Experience with malware analysis and technical cyber threats
Understanding of foreign adversary intelligence threats to the U.S. Government
Experience translating government vision into actionable tasks and coaching others toward objectives
Security Clearance Requirement
An active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
Subject to undergo a CI polygraph
