Job Description
Come join the oldest and longest running patrol operation in Thurston County. SORSEN STAFFING SOLUTIONS is recruiting for a critical Unarmed Security Patrolman position with a Washington DOL licensed Security Guard Agency in Olympia Washington. This role is entrusted with conducting essential vehicle patrols and executing lock-up services for assigned properties. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional attention to detail superior communication skills demonstrate proficiency with computers and cell phone applications and exhibit the capacity to respond swiftly and appropriately to service calls. Note: All patrol shifts are scheduled between 1800 (6pm) and 0600 (6am). There are no day shifts. This job is for persons who will enjoy working the graveyard shift.
Vehicle Patrols
- Execute systematic patrols of assigned properties utilizing company-provided vehicles.
- Conduct thorough inspections of premises to identify unauthorized activities personnel and security breaches.
- Meticulously document and report all incidents maintenance requirements and safety concerns observed during patrols.
Building Lock-Up Services
- Ensure comprehensive security of all doors windows and access points at the conclusion of business hours.
- Perform rigorous verification to confirm complete evacuation of premises prior to lock-up procedures.
- Conduct thorough follow-up inspections to guarantee all areas remain secure.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain comprehensive and precise records of all patrols incidents and lock-up procedures.
- Submit detailed daily activity logs and incident reports
- Provide clear and concise communication regarding unresolved security issues or recommendations for operational improvements.
Professional Representation
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism when interacting with clients tenants or visitors.
- Provide authoritative assistance and information as required ensuring a secure and controlled environment.
Qualifications :
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum Age: 25 years of age.
Previous security military or law enforcement experience required.
Valid drivers license with a clean or goord driving record.
Ability to operate and maintain a security patrol vehicle safely.
Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Physically fit and capable of performing duties such as walking standing and driving for extended periods.

Work Environment
Primarily outdoor work involving vehicle patrols in varying weather conditions.
All patrol shifts are scheduled between 1800 (6pm) and 0600 (6am). There are no day shifts.
Employment Requirements
Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
Availabile and willing to work flexible hours including holidays if necessary.
Ability to wear a uniform and maintain a professional appearance.
