Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Technician Apprentice to join our security business unit.
Apprentice Technicians work alongside an LEA (Limited Energy Technician Class A) technician while attending an approved apprenticeship program. The responsibilities include completing all tasks assigned by an LEA which may include assisting with installations troubleshooting repairs and calibrations of electrical systems under 100 volt-amperes including access control CCTV and intrusion systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Learning from an LEA and completing all assigned duties
Identifying analyzing troubleshooting and assisting with repairs of equipment and electrical faults
Tests electrical security systems to ensure proper installation and operation
Inspects electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed
Installs conduits and pulls low voltage cable
Trims out security devices
Replaces conduit and wiring as needed
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Open to feedback and a willingness to learn
Maintain a valid drivers license and good driving record
