The Augusta mill sits along the Savannah River on the state border between Georgia and South Carolina and manufactures light medium and heavy weight coated paperboard. It is a well-invested SBS paperboard manufacturing facility with approximately 600 thousand tons of capacity. This facility boasts over 700 employees and has been in operation for almost 65 years. Located on 3000 acres the Augusta site operates two paper machines that produce 1940 tons per day. The Augusta Mill is Clearwater Papers largest paperboard facility and critical to the success of our strategy and future.

What you will do
The Administrative Assistant supports the Finished Goods Paper Machines and C&A Departments in providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the department. This position will perform a variety of tasks related to organization and communication while maintaining confidential and time sensitive materials.
Job Functions
Work with Finance Department to create annual budgets
Provide mid-month forecast for fuel & energy budgets
Provide quarterly updates on fuel & energy budgets
Maintains inventories of departmental equipment tools operating log sheets office supplies and frequently used items
Creates and posts weekly and monthly communication charts for the department
Excellent communication with Union leadership
Excellent understanding of the Labor Agreement
Works with members of the team to promote safety awareness process improvement housekeeping and customer focus
Must be supportive of CLWs Mission Vision and Core Values (Integrity Respect Accountability Relationships and Teamwork)
Must be supportive and involved in CLW efforts for Continuous Improvement programs and processes
Must be extremely customer focused
Other duties as assigned by the department Managers
