Job Description

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where your technical skills and compassion for animals make a true impact Join our dedicated urgent care team as a Veterinary Technician where youll play a critical role in patient care client communication and life-saving support.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Veterinary Technician in our urgent care setting your duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Safely restrain animals using low-stress handling techniques

  • Triage and assess incoming patients to prioritize care

  • Collect and analyze laboratory samples (blood urine fecal skin etc.)

  • Perform diagnostic imaging and accurately capture radiographs

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

  • Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgical prep procedures and recovery

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to stable and critical patients

  • Accurately document patient histories and interpret medical records

  • Communicate treatment plans clearly and compassionately to clients


Qualifications :

Were looking for:

  • Minimum of 1 year of veterinary technician experience (required)

  • Flexibility to work rotating weekends (required)

  • Strong work ethic punctuality and a collaborative attitude

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Solid understanding of preventative care hospital workflow and surgical procedures

  • Competence in sample collection lab test processing radiograph positioning and anesthetic monitoring

  • The ability to accept and act on constructive feedback to support hospital efficiency

  • A self-starter mentality with a commitment to continued learning and professional development
