Job Description & Summary: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through manual and automated testing practices. This role is critical in driving excellence reducing risk and delivering high-value solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Design develop and execute test cases based on software requirements and technical specifications.
2. Conduct functional sanity regression integration and system testing.
3. Identify document and track bugs using standard bug tracking tools.
4. Collaborate with developers business analysts and project managers to understand requirements and resolve issues.
5. Create and maintain test documentation including test plans test cases and test scripts and test reports.
6. Perform test automation using appropriate tools and frameworks.
7. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
8. Ensure compliance with PwCs quality assurance processes and standards.
Mandatory skill sets:
1. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in software testing (manual and automation).
2. Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
3. Experience with test case management and bug tracking tools (e.g. JIRA TestRail).
4. Proficiency in at least one test automation tool (e.g. Selenium TestNG JUnit).
5. Knowledge of scripting/programming languages like Java Python or JavaScript for automation.
6. Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g. Postman REST Assured).
7. Good understanding of databases and ability to write SQL queries.
8. Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Preferred skill sets:
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter LoadRunner).
Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g. Jenkins GitLab CI).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP).
ISTQB or equivalent certification.
Experience working in a consulting or client-facing environment.
