Traveling Leasing Specialist
Silver Spring MD & Catonsville MD
Hourly Rate: Starting at $19.75/hour (commensurate with experience) Commission Bonus Opportunities
Full-Time Split Between Two Properties
WPM Real Estate Management is seeking a friendly energetic and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Traveling Leasing Specialist supporting Hampton Point in Silver Spring MD and Catons Villas in Catonsville MD.
This is a full-time position with regular travel required between both communities. The role offers a unique opportunity to gain diverse experience while working closely with two dynamic property teams.
If you have a background in customer service sales or marketing and thrive in a fast-paced people-focused environment this is an excellent opportunity to grow your career in residential leasing. Prior leasing experience and familiarity with Entrata are preferred.
Greet prospective residents and manage all walk-in and phone inquiries; log traffic in CRM system and generate weekly traffic reports.
Assist applicants through the leasing process including collecting necessary documentation.
Manage vacancies by maintaining accurate vacancy reports and preparing units for move-in (minor cleaning and inspections).
Maintain and distribute marketing materials; participate in outreach and promotional events.
Plan and execute resident retention activities including community events.
Conduct regular market surveys by visiting competitor properties.
Provide administrative support to Property Managers including processing correspondence updating resident files maintaining insurance certificates and coordinating appointments.
Support day-to-day operations by managing phone coverage organizing resident files and assisting with vendor communications.
Ensure a high standard of customer service by addressing resident concerns promptly and professionally.
Perform other duties as assigned to support leasing and property management operations.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Prior leasing and/or sales experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Comfortable working independently and traveling between communities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Entrata or other leasing software preferred.
Ability to present a professional image in demeanor and appearance.
Must be available to work weekends and occasional evenings as needed.
Competitive hourly wage starting at $19.75/hour (based on experience)
