Salary: 28000 per annum (Shift allowance on top from 2026)
Hours: MonThurs 08:0016:45 Fri 08:0012:00 (until Jan 2026) then 4-on-4-off shifts (8am to 5:30pm)

Were recruiting several NDT Operatives on behalf of a world-renowned aerospace manufacturer based near Stadhampton Oxfordshire. The company designs and manufactures life-saving technology used by aircrew around the globe.
From January 2026 this position will operate on a 4-on 4-off shift pattern (08:0017:30) with shift allowance on top in the 28000 salary. Until then youll work standard weekday hours without shift allowance.
28000 annual salary (including shift allowance from Jan 2026)

This is a varied hands-on role working with life-critical components. Key duties include:
X-Ray Inspection Digital radiography and CT scanning for anomaly detection
Proof Testing Live testing of assembled components
Leak Testing Helium testing with a mass spectrometer to tight specifications
Visual Inspection Ensuring all units meet rigorous engineering standards
Assembly & Marking Mechanical assembly build and inkjet part marking
Packing Safe compliant packaging of high-value components
Support Tasks Movement of parts tooling and assisting with stock/hardware
Experience in NDT or similar technical inspection roles
Confidence reading engineering drawings and technical documentation
Familiarity with digital x-ray systems or ASNT Level 1 Radiography (desirable)
A proactive problem-solving attitude and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Strong data analysis and documentation skills
