Job Description

The Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the overall presentation of the public areas of our luxury hotel. This role is vital to the overall guest experience ensuring that guests feel comfortable and welcome. 
 

Position Type: Permanent
Pay Rate: $19.48/hour
Start Date: August 2025

Job Duties Include:

  • Clean sanitize and maintain the public areas of the hotel including lobbies corridors restrooms elevators and stairways.
  • Ensure all public spaces are free of garbage debris and hazards and maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Replenish and maintain supplies such as toilet paper hand soap and paper towels in restrooms and public areas.
  • Report maintenance issues or damages in public areas to the appropriate departments (e.g. maintenance housekeeping).

Qualifications :

Your experience and skillset includes: 

  • Previous housekeeping or room attendant experience in a luxury hotel environment is an asset.
  • Physical ability to stand walk bend and lift for extended periods.

You may be required to work on holidays weekends overnights and other non-day shifts. Submission of your application to Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise indicates that you are able to meet these requirements as needed.
