About the Role:

This is more than just a leadership position its a chance to guide one of the Northern Territorys most critical reintegration programs. As the Adult Throughcare Practice Lead youll play a pivotal role in ensuring justice-affected Aboriginal people are supported with dignity cultural safety and genuine care as they return to their families kin and communities.

Youll be responsible for leading a dedicated and skilled team of program coordinators and intensive case managers ensuring the delivery of high-quality trauma-informed and person-centred services. You will set and uphold practice standards provide hands-on support and supervision and act as a role model for excellence in case management and client advocacy. This is a unique opportunity to:

What Youll Do:

  • Lead delivery of adult throughcare programs aligned with evidence-based practice
  • Oversee and strengthen case management and service delivery
  • Supervise and support staff development performance and recruitment
  • Build powerful partnerships across the justice health and social sectors
  • Promote reflective practice and culturally responsive care
  • Represent NAAJAs vision and values with integrity and professionalism

What Youll Bring:

Strong background in case management and advocacy with justice-affected Aboriginal clients

Proven leadership and staff supervision experience

Deep understanding of trauma-informed and culturally safe practice

Strong stakeholder engagement and strategic thinking skills

Commitment to Aboriginal self-determination and social justice

Bonus points for qualifications in social work criminology or community services ability to speak an Aboriginal language or lived experience in the NT justice system.
