You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailFidelity Investments is looking to hire a PrincipalSystems Engineer to join Enterprise Cybersecurity as a member of the API Authentication squad in Identity and Access Management. This squad provides access and authentication services and solutions to users and application APIs across all of Fidelitys business units.
The Expertise You Have and The Skills You Bring
A minimum of 10 years of IT experience.
Experience of supporting a vendor-based API Gateway management solution such as Axway Amazon API Gateway or Azure API Gateway.
Strong Linux operating system experience.
Strong TCP/IP knowledge.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science / Engineering Computer Systems Networking Information Systems/Science or a closely related subject area.
The following skills are preferred but not mandatory for this role.
Experience of working on authentication protocols such as SAML OpenID Connect Kerberos or OAuth.
Experience of integrating security applications with directory services (LDAP Active Directory Oracle Directory Services) within a database (SQL Oracle MySQL Cassandra) webserver (IIS Apache ISH NodeJS) and application server (Tomcat WebLogic WebSphere) environment.
Experience of writing and maintaining source code for web services (RESTful SOAP) applications using Java Bash JSP ASP and/or JavaScript.
The Team
In this role you will engineer deploy support and maintain vendor product solutions in the areas of web services API authorization. Our team provides services to hundreds of internal BU customers as well as external partners. We leverage an Agile development process and operate in a combined engineering / operations DevOps model.

We also value the benefits that working offsite offers associates. Most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite every other week (all business days M-F) in a Fidelity office.
