Job Description
Dealer School will be from Monday August 25th to September 12th 5 days a week 4 hours a day. Are you a great customer service provider Thats all it takes; we will train you! New dealers can expect to earn at least $50000 yearly with tokes. Must be able to work nights holidays and weekends must be at least 21 years of age and must be able to obtain a Missouri Gaming License (background check).
JOB SUMMARY:
- Responsible for dealing casino games as assigned in order to provide a courteous and entertaining experience for Caesars guests and generate revenue for the department.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for dealing casino games as assigned in order to provide a courteous and entertaining experience for Harrahs guests and generate revenue for the department.
- Provide game instructions to guest when requested or as assigned in order to encourage game activity.
- Sponsors new dealers as needed in order to provide new hires with adequate on the job training.
- Provide game protection by keeping visual contact of all guests and game layout.
- Initiate courteous and friendly conversation with guests.
- Stay informed on property and departmental promotions and events.
- Professional attitude always setting the example.
- Works well with others.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain Missouri Gaming License.
- Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift including holidays and weekends.
- Must present a well-groomed appearance.
- Must have excellent customer service/communication skills.
- Successful completion of certified Dealer School.
- Able to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
- Able to communicate clearly and tactfully.
- Must be able to count currency
- Must be able to deal all games certified
WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to work independently along with a team mentality.
- Must be able to bend twist turn push and pull as well as lift and carry above/below the shoulders a minimum of 25 lbs or more.
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time or entire shift.
- Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
- Is able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke high noise levels bright lights and dust.
- Must be able to read write speak and understand English.
- Mathematical abilities including addition and subtraction/accurate record keeping strongly required.
