Community Medical & Dental Care Inc. has over 60 healthcare providers who offer a wide range of services including Adult Medicine Pediatrics Family Practice Obstetrics/Gynecology Dentistry/Oral Surgery Allergy Dermatology Endocrinology Nutrition Counseling Occupational Therapy Ophthalmology Optometry Podiatry Speech Therapy and Urology.
Community Medical and Dental Care is seeking an experienced Family Pediatric or Specialty Nurse Practitioner. for a full-time or part-time position. We offer a very competitive hourly rate and a wonderful working environment.
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to provide examination and treatment of patients.
Perform assessment and treatment of acute injuries infections and illnesses.
Order and interpret appropriate lab tests to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all professional services rendered.
Prepare and review reports claims and correspondence; ensure that records and documentation are compliant with Federal and State regulations.
Provide both in-office and telemedicine services to patients.
Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state licensure and collaborative practice agreements.
Recommend appropriate physical and dietary routines and methods for disease prevention and health maintenance.
Refer patients to physicians specialists or other healthcare professionals when necessary.
Follow up on all outside referrals lab results and consults.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physician Assistant.
Ability to establish strong professional relationships with patients and their families.
Competence in working effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Ability to independently evaluate patients establish differential diagnoses order diagnostic tests and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
Commitment to practicing evidence-based medicine and staying current with medical guidelines and standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
