Were looking for a passionate and curious Process Engineer II to join our team. *Note: Manufacturing operations in Seattle occur 7 days a week day shifts only and extended shifts as required based on process requirements
What Youll Do:
Under direct/moderate supervision job responsibilities encompass the transfer of novel purification processes from model to manufacturing scale.
Process engineers will work closely with scientists and engineers to develop manufacturing processes for novel biotherapeutics.
Execute upstream and/or downstream manufacturing operations they had a hand in building.
The role will work with disposable based manufacturing equipment and be involved in upstream manufacturing operations including performing aseptic operations shake flask cell expansion process bioreactor operations and media preparation; and downstream manufacturing operations including continuous protein capture chromatography polishing steps and drug formulation and fill.
May also participate in technology transfer troubleshooting GMP documentation revision and deviation investigations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore new possibilities and solutions.
Bring fresh perspectives that challenge the status quo.
Regularly share your findings ideas and solutions in both team settings and presentations.
Keep up with the latest trends and developments and use your knowledge to inspire and lead.
Ensure that curiosity-driven questions and exploration lead to measurable impactful results.
Full time permanent site based in Seattle WA working shifts dependant on which team see below for example shifts per team.
4 days x 10 hour shifts
Who You Are:
Someone who is not satisfied with just good enough and is always looking to improve adapt and innovate.

Bachelors degree in biological science or engineering with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Capacity to develop solutions to technical issues of moderate scope.
Ability to organize analyze/interpret and effectively communicate individual results.
Motivated self-starter with strong mechanical aptitude.
Knowledge of cGMP requirements to ensure compliance.
Understanding of equipment operations and engineering principles used to manufacture biotherapeutics.
Experience in cell culture principles and aseptic technique in purification principles and operations.
Experience with disposable-based processing equipment is a plus and in technology and/or process transfer for early-stage clinical manufacturing.

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $83000 to $86250; Base salary offered may vary depending on the individuals skills experience and competitive market value.
