SMART is seeking an experienced and proactive individual to come board as a Project Coordinator to help facilitate and oversee transformative projects across 62 sites AU/NZ wide.
This role requires both interstate and international travel and you can be based at any of our sites across the network (QLD or VIC preferred).We offer a genuine hybrid opportunity when youre not traveling with up to 2 days per week working from home.

Working within a collaborative team and reporting to the Advanced Operations Manager you will ensure a safe secure and functional working environmentfor all our team members incorporating reactive preventative and planned maintenance in an exciting stage of growth and refurbishment and we invite you to be a part of our success!
With safety and quality at the forefront of everything we do at SMART your role will include but not be limited to;
- Identifying and managing operational and maintenance requirements including the management of repairs to fixtures fittings and equipment throughout the repair centres.
- Ensure that works are carried out within agreed timeframes and according to priorities.
- Provide information to all staff users and stakeholders regarding works that are being carried out.
- Reviewing services and raise suggestions for process improvements relating to property management.
- Working closely with external contractors including sourcing of quotations from suppliers who have relevant expertise and have met regulatory standards.
- On-site contractor management including safety onboarding and implementing self-service opportunities.
- Assist in the management of events.
- Maintain fire emergency security regulatory and compliance records.
- Assessments and reporting.
- Other general administrative duties as required.
What Were Looking For:
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to set priorities and manage multiple deadlines.
- Ability to take responsibility for tasks and see them through to completion.
- Sound communication and presentation skills.
- Acute attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Advanced computer skills including the ability to operate a Building Management System and Microsoft Office Programs (e.g. Word Excel Outlook)
- Knowledge of all building trades and a common sense approach to a range of maintenance issues.
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills.
- Previous experience and demonstrated capabilities in a Facilities Coordinator role.
