The Role

An Associate Brokers primary responsibility is to support Brokers & Senior Brokers to effectively manage through the renewal process and deliver results for assigned clients. Day-to-day an Associate Broker will actively run Williss suite of Core Analytics assist in the preparation of marketing submissions analyze loss and exposure information prepare strategy or proposal presentations for clients review quote documents and manage the post bind process. Outside of the renewal process Associate Brokers are actively involved in project work and assisting new business opportunities.

Each Associate Broker is assigned to specific client engagements covering a broad range of industries (with a focus on General Industry) program structures and program complexity. Throughout these engagements Associate Brokers are front and center actively participating in client and carrier conversations.

Training & Development is extremely important to the Large & Complex Casualty this role Associate Brokers have the opportunity to learn and develop their skillset through structured training sessions and direct involvement throughout the renewal cycle. Structured training includes periodic Casualty Catalyst sessions monthly educational Associate Broker meetings Mock New Business exercises in-depth coverage training and more.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as dedicated broking support for Large & Complex Casualty clients
  • Help to prepare renewal strategy and proposal presentations for clients and actively participate in these meetings
  • Prepare run and articulate outcomes of Williss suite of Core Analytics
  • Analyze and prepare loss & exposure data for purposes of client discussions and marketing submissions
  • Monitor carrier responses to submissions gather questions and ensure information is being provided to the marketplace in a timely fashion
  • Assist in carrier & client dialogue gaining exposure to the renewal negotiation process
  • Review quote documents identify changes and prepare proposal documents for clients
  • Manage post bind process ensuring proper documentation of files accuracy of binders and input benchmarking data.
  • Work alongside Client Service teams to ensure L&C Casualty Broking is positioned for success and client needs are met
  • Help Brokers & Senior Brokers to manage Engagement 365 process Williss year-round client engagement framework
  • Outside of renewal activity Associate Brokers will be involved with project work and new business opportunities
  • Maintain and develop relationships with clients and carrier partners
  • Travel as needed


Qualifications

The Requirements

  • College graduate will require transcript (Insurance major not a requirement)
  • Insurance brokers P&C license required If not held must obtain within 6 months of employment
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly communicative
  • Intellectually curious
  • Organized
  • Comfortable with presenting/speaking in front of clients & carrier partners
  • Ability to manage responsibilities/timelines of several different workstreams at the same time
  • High attention to detail and focus on delivering polished work products to the marketplace and clients

This position will remain posted for a minimum of three business days from the date posted or until sufficient/appropriate candidate slate has been identified.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are being included in accordance with requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors including but not limited to location of the role individual competencies education/professional certifications qualifications/experience performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

Compensation

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $65000.00-$82 000.00 USDannually.

This role is also eligible for an annual short-term incentive bonus.
