Job Description
Job Overview: As the Director of Sales youll be the driving force behind our propertys success working strategically to generate top-line revenue and elevate the Faro Blanco Resort & Yacht Clubs presence in the marketplace. Youll have the opportunity to make a real impact on the hotels growth while ensuring our guests receive an exceptional experience.
What Youll Do:
- Lead Sales Strategy: Drive revenue by developing and executing sales strategies that attract new business and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts.
- Achieve Financial Goals: Focus on meeting or surpassing budget targets ensuring the success and profitability of the property.
- Sales Team Leadership: Manage motivate and support the Sales team ensuring the teams productivity growth and alignment with hotel objectives.
- Target Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new market segments to grow the hotels customer base while creating special packages to boost occupancy during slower periods.
- Innovative Marketing: Design and implement creative marketing campaigns including print digital and outdoor advertising to boost brand awareness and drive business.
- Community Engagement: Represent the hotel at trade shows civic events and local organizations to build connections and enhance the propertys visibility.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with the General Manager Department Heads and staff to ensure seamless communication and alignment of sales and marketing strategies.
- Budget Management: Maintain the Sales Departments annual budget ensuring costs are controlled while maximizing revenue opportunities.

- A proven track record in sales and marketing leadership ideally within the hospitality or resort industry.
- Exceptional communication negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Creative and analytical thinker with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Expertise in digital marketing strategies and tools including social media and analytics platforms.
- A dynamic and energetic leader who thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
- Familiarity with the Florida Keys market and its unique appeal (preferred but not required).
