Create and maintain a structured supportive and trauma-informed classroom environment that promotes student safety and engagement.
Implement evidence-based strategies for behavior management social-emotional learning and academic instruction.
Collaborate with school counselors psychologists special education staff and external providers to support student well-being and progress.
Actively participate in student meetings student support teams and family conferences to ensure appropriate supports are in place.
Use data collection systems to track behavioral incidents academic growth and progress toward IEP goals.
Utilize de-escalation strategies and crisis intervention techniques in alignment with district-approved training
Foster strong relationships with students families and staff to support student success and continuity of care.
Support transition planning for students to return to general education or less restrictive settings.
Valid Arkansas Teaching License
