Job Description
L&R is the largest distributor and the 6th largest purchaser of cosmetics in the United States. We now distribute over 40000 items (cosmetics toys school supplies hosiery hair accessories OTC HBA and more) through 4 regional warehouse locations in Arkansas New Jersey and Nevada.
Positions available: Inventory Control Associate
Rate of pay starts @ $15.00 an hour.
Job Summary:
Job Summary
The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for verifying an accurate count of all merchandise in the Warehouse.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for accurately and efficiently counting items
- Paying detailed attention to matching product item numbers
- Correct product count
Qualifications:
- General Distribution Center experience helpful but not required
- Ability to read and write
- Basic math skills
- Computer knowledge helpful but not required
- Ability to lift and lower up to 50lbs and be on feet for long periods of time (use proper mechanics at all times)
- Reach above shoulder
- Repetitive arm/hand movements
- Must be able to work in areas that are confined and/or crowded
- Must be able to maintain friendly helpful work ethic
- Must be able to understand and use safe work methods to prevent injury to self and other employees.
