As a Human Resources Assistant with Jabil you will assist the Human Resources Managers and Human Resources Generalists across the site.
Location:
This role wiil be based on-site at our Florence KY facility.
What Will You Do
Provide full support and assistance to the HR department when there is a requirement.
Employee relations Responsible for communication and interpretation of HR policies and procedures. Coach/consult with managers and employees on issues including performance terminations sexual harassment discrimination etc.
Put together and coordinate all calendar of events; for example: theme days new hire orientation safety shoe days and etc.
Order supplies for Human Resources and Engagement.
Coordinate and share any Jabil Programs like Jabil Cares Involvement; Respect and Recognition Program to name a few.
Coordinate Town Hall scheduling for the campus.
Benefits Communicate and interpret all benefit changes and policies. Educate associates about their benefits and coordinate open enrollment periods. Research and resolve associates benefit problems and questions about employee activities/programs.
Project Management Participate in team projects that address strategic initiatives as directed by the HR Manager.
Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by the supervisor.
Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
Assist with all daily/monthly reports.
Assist with department documentation.
Assist with the distribution of documentation to other groups.
Understand and use any system the department uses.
Ensure timely preparation of reports filing and distribution for the department.
Maintain the filing system for all group documentation.
Update all flow charts organization charts and attendance records for the site.
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
How Will You Get Here
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in an administrative assistant background either in HR and/or a manufacturing environment; or other similar environment.
Knowledge Skills Abilities:
Experience working in a fast-paced high-volume environment
Bilingual is a plus
Strong communication skills
Attention to detail
Strong computer skills are required
Strong organizational skills
Ability to be flexible with hours; some overtime may be required
