Job Title: Reliability & Continuous Improvement Manager
Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Reliability and Continuous Improvement Manager to support and enhance asset performance maintenance strategies processes and best practices within a dynamic Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) environment. This role contributes strategically to reliability and continuous improvement efforts by applying data analytics Lean and Six Sigma principles and key elements of reliability engineering such as failure analysis asset criticality assessment and maintenance optimization to drive efficiencies and savings.
The Reliability and Continuous Improvement Manager collaborates with the account team to establish priorities initiatives and goals while working with the Corporate Reliability team to ensure compliance with EMCOR standards processes and best practices associated with asset health asset performance data maintenance specifications and PM standards maintenance processes staffing level analysis and Cap Ex planning based on asset condition assessments and historical performance and criticality. The Reliability and Continuous Improvement Manager will identify and recommend and execute actionable improvements. While not responsible for enterprise-level program leadership the role may independently lead internal account-level projects that target improved equipment reliability reduced downtime enhanced and more efficient facility operations driving towards a lower total cost of ownership (Savings). This position is ideal for an engineer looking to apply both strategic thinking and hands-on problem solving in a collaborative performance-driven setting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reliability Metrics & Data Analysis
Monitor and report key reliability KPIs by analyzing asset performance dataincluding failure history downtime repair costs and work orders. Leverage CMMS and data analytics tools to identify trends risks and opportunities for reliability improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Client Alignment
Collaborate with site operations maintenance and engineering teams to implement reliability improvements and ensure alignment with account and client goals including implementation of Moring Daily Planning Meetings (MDP) Work Order Audit Process Weekly Planning Strategy and any other Maintenance Processes to drive efficiencies and improved communication and performance.
Reliability Leadership & Compliance
Lead reliability initiatives to improve equipment uptime reduce reactive maintenance and enhance operational performance and efficiencies. Support audits and compliance efforts by ensuring procedures documentation and data meet internal and client standards.
Maintenance Strategy & Root Cause Analysis
Support maintenance strategy reviews and optimization efforts to align with industry best practices. Assist in root cause investigations and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurring failures. Conduct failure mode analyses and contribute to asset condition and criticality assessments to guide maintenance priorities.
Capital Planning & Cost Optimization
Support capital planning with data-driven insights on asset condition lifecycle risk and performance trends applying maintenance expertise to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize investment decisions.
Additional Responsibilities & Operational Support
Performs any other duties as deemed necessary by the Account and CI&R leadership.
Qualifications:
Education
Bachelors degree (BS) in Engineering (preferably Reliability Industrial or a related discipline) from an accredited college or university; or 10 years of relevant engineering experience and/or specialized training in reliability or industrial engineering; or an equivalent combination of education and practical engineering experience.
Business Experience
A minimum of 5 years of experience in applying the concepts of Continuous Improvement (Lean/SixSigma) in a manufacturing/industrial facility.
CMMS platform experience required; Corrigo preferred.
Maintenance program experience is required.
Licenses/Certifications
Must possess a valid drivers license. Ability to travel to Canada (valid Passport).
Lean/Six Sigma certification is strongly preferred; Ability to achieve Green Belt certification within 12 months
Language Skills
Strong written and verbal command of the English language required.
Technical Qualifications & Skills
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel including macros Power Query pivot tables formula creation and troubleshooting.
Experienced with CMMS and SharePoint platforms for asset management and document collaboration.
Familiarity with SmartSheet and the Microsoft Power Suiteincluding Power BI and Power Automateis desirable.
Ability to quickly understand and apply technical concepts.
Strong interpersonal leadership organizational and self-management skills.
Proactive and able to work independently prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple deadlines.
Excellent communication skills demonstrating respect for coworkers vendors and clients.
Customer-focused mindset committed to meeting internal customer expectations and resolving quality issues.

Industry knowledge; familiarity with mechanical systems including electrical plumbing HVAC and fire/life/safety; ability to read technical drawings site plans and legal language
Exceptional time management and detail orientation; able to balance multiple competing demands and priorities.
Continuous improvement mindset; open to learning new skills and passionate about innovation and operational excellence
Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid environment; takes initiative.
