Job Description
Growing CPA firm in North Phoenix is looking to add a Tax Manager to their staff.This position is in office. Duties-
- Provide innovative tax planning consulting and compliance services
- Manage tax engagements and workload efficiently
- Manage clients and their expectations
- Prepare corporate partnership individual and trust and estate tax returns
- Provide leadership to Tax Accountants and Staff
- Experience handling IRS and state notices
- Understanding of QuickBooks
- Maintain knowledge of changing tax regulations
Experience/Knowledge
- Licensed CPA
- 5 years of relevant tax experience in public accounting
- Experience preparing formsS 1041s and 1040s
- Ability to be a creative thinker and provide value and ideas to clients and the Firm
- 2 years of supervising and training experience preferred
- Ability to review work prepared by tax accountants
- Proficient in corporate partnership and individual taxation
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills required for managing multiple client engagements
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
- Experience with UltraTax preferred but not required
