Job Title: Customer Service Representative I - Outreach (Bilingual English/Spanish)
Location:Rialto CA (Must reside in San Bernardino County - Rialto area)
Type: Full-Time Temporary (6 months with possible extension)
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST
Pay Rate:$20.00/hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Bilingual (English/Spanish) Customer Service Representativeto join our team in Rialto CA. This temporary position supports beneficiaries in navigating their healthcare options through in-person engagement and education. Ideal candidates will be passionate about helping others comfortable with community-based outreach and capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct face-to-face outreach to beneficiaries through group and individual presentations.
- Educate clients on managed care options and assist with planning navigation.
- Support clients with the enrollment and disenrollment processes.
- Perform data entry status updates and documentation in CRM systems.
- Respond to inquiries regarding medical exceptions and waivers.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with county agencies community partners and clients.
- Provide training and guidance to new outreach team members.
- Attend and represent the program at local community events and health fairs.
- Travel to assigned locations and provide on-site support as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely case notes and document all outreach activity.
- Meet field performance standards and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
Qualifications:
- Required:Bilingual - fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
- Required:Must reside within San Bernardino County - Rialto area
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Prior experience with community outreach or working in public health human services or related fields is preferred
- Proficiency in data entry and comfort using CRM tools and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible dependable and detail-oriented
Physical & Work Environment:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
- Office-based with local travel for outreach and community events.
