Job Description

Solar Project Site Manager

Our client based in Charlotte is hiring Solar Project Site Managers to be responsible for the successful day-to-day on-site execution of utility-scale solar PV construction projects. Responsibilities include:

- Set up site infrastructure (trailers utilities signage internet fuel sanitation etc.).

- Maintain detailed daily logs including weather progress photos and site conditions.

- Track subcontractor performance and ensure schedules and quality standards are being met.

- Recommend staffing adjustments or schedule modifications as needed.

- Enforce companys safety policies and Site-Specific Health and Safety Plan (SSHASP).

- Conduct tailgate safety meetings and enforce site-specific SWPPP guidelines.

- Assist with material receiving inspection and inventory.

- Document redlines and field changes for final as-builts.

- Maintain an organized and professional site office.


Requirements:

- 3 years of experience managing solar construction projects

- Ability to set up and operate technology in remote field settings (tablets mobile wifi wireless cameras)

- Civil mechanical and electrical construction experience

- Strong leadership skills

- Ability to temporarily relocate and travel to assigned project sites
