Job Title: CREW LEADER
Reason for the Hire: To keep pace with current market demand by growing our production capacity at 20% per year.
Reports to: Production Coordinator & General Manager
Schedule: Full Time High Season (May-Nov)
-50 hrs./wk. Mon-Sat: 7am-5pm
-Wednesdays 7am Crew Leader Meeting (Branford Office)
-Occasional Sunday (May-Nov)
Full Time Low Season (Dec-April)
-40 hrs./wk. Mon-Fri: 7am-4pm
-Wednesdays 7am Crew Leader Meeting (Branford Office)
The Crew Leader is a key part of the fulfillment of the promises we make to our customers. The companys brand and customer experience rely on the proper execution of the responsibilities of this role. The areas of accountability are as follows:
Work Environment: Scattered jobsites (primarily New Haven and Fairfield CountiesCT); Office at 100 North Branford Road Branford CT (Wednesday Crew Leader Meeting)
6AM H2B houses (pick up your painters)
7AM Arrive at the job site; check-in with customer for 5 minutes
7:15AM Morning Huddle to assign tasks
11:30AM Check on morning work from every painter
11:30-12PM Eat lunch on-site
12PM Afternoon Huddle to assign tasks
4PM Check on afternoon work from every painter
4:30PM Check in with customers while painters clean up the job site
We are looking for the following in our candidates!
-Bilingual (English & Spanish); Know all facets of professional painting. Should have 3 years of experience working with painting companies in residential work.
-Shows leadership high organizational skills ability to think critically and quickly relates well with others
-Comfortable with a fast-paced and ever-changing schedule
Communication Skills: This person must speak well in person. They should communicate instructions and directives clearly to teammates. They should be excellent listeners and clear & decisive in their communication with customers. They must go above and beyond in customer service.
Values: They should be honest. They should care about the people around them (both customers and painters). They should welcome a fast-paced environment and enjoy solving problems and staying organized and on-task. They should value hard work and integrity. They should value getting the details right.
Attitude: They must remain positive in their outlook. Friendly confident loyal are critical attributes but they must also be comfortable in the chaos of an ever-changing schedule. They have to be self-governing and capable of controlling their time blocks and accomplishing tasks efficiently.
