Job title:Digital Development Lead
Salary:50000 per annum
Location:Homebased
Contract/Hours:Fixed Term Contract for 12 months Full-time 35 hours per week

About the role
We are seeking a Digital Development Lead who is familiar with Childrens and Family services and has expertise in developing successful propositions and business models for services.
In this role you lead a team of product designers and a digital developments officer to apply user centred service design techniques to digitally transform Action for Childrens services.
Youll drive the expansion of our Digital Childrens Services into local authorities generating income and securing funding whilst collaborating with our fundraising team to shape a vision that meets local needs and ensures financial sustainability.
How youll create brighter futures
- Lead a team of specialists ensuring Action for Childrens policies and standards are consistently applied
- Drive the growth of existing and new digital products shaping strategy and long-term planning to create leading digital solutions
- Lead efforts to drive the organisations adoption of digital service products and their benefits
- Create innovative service models working collaboratively with Business Development to design and price bespoke services for tender responses
- Identify and seize opportunities to generate substantial funding for projects
Lets talk about you
- Experience of identifying user and market needs
- Experience of developing innovative digital products leading to taking the product to market at scale
- Extensive experience of business modelling within the Childrens Services environment with proven track record of driving growth sustainability and profitability from digital innovation.
- Working knowledge of user centred service design principles processes and methods
- Experience of running service innovation programmes with multiple stakeholders and completing objectives
- Experience of writing business cases to secure significant funding
- Proven ability to apply inclusion and diversity principles
- Accustomed to liaising with stakeholders from varied backgrounds and levels of digital expertise.
