Job Description
Are you passionate about applying formal verification program analysis constraint-solving and theorem proving to real world problems Do you want to create products that reduce complexity for customers increase customer security posture and are provably correct If so then we have an exciting opportunity for you to leverage Automated Reasoning techniques across EC2 and EC2 Networking.
In this role you will interact with internal teams and external customers to understand their networking requirements. You will apply your knowledge to propose solutions create software prototypes and productize prototypes into production systems using software development tools and addition you will support and scale your solutions to meet the ever growing demand of customer use. You will interact with the broader academic community and have the opportunity to publish your work.
Key job responsibilities
* Develop scientific advancements focused on modeling large-scale networks to power new services.
* Work with engineering teams to design and build key components.
* Design systems and deploy code
* Interact with the broader academic community and publish results.

- PhD or Masters degree and 4 years of CS CE ML or related field experience
- Experience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals
- Experience programming in Java C Python or related language
- PhD in computer science computer engineering or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
