Ohio Wesleyan University a selective private undergraduate liberal arts residential institution founded in 1842 and located just 20 miles north of Columbus is seeking candidates for the position of Sports Information Director. This is a salaried Full-Time position with benefits.
About the candidate:
As a successful candidate for this position you will lead the strategic communications efforts for the Universitys athletic division promoting and enhancing the visibility of all varsity sports programs. You will use creative storytelling media relations digital content and game-day operations to highlight the achievements and spirit of our athletic this role you will collaborate across departments to ensure a consistent and integrated message that supports the Universitys mission and athletic objectives.
Job Summary:
The Sports Information Director (SID) leads the strategic communication efforts for the colleges athletic division. This role is responsible for promoting and enhancing the visibility of all varsity athletic programs through creative storytelling media relations digital content and game-day operations. The Sports Information Director collaborates across departments to ensure a consistent and integrated message that supports the Universitys mission and athletic objectives. This position reports to the Vice President of Marketing & Communications.
