Compensation plans are based on a multi-step progression system. The pay range reflects the entry level and maximum salary potential in the assigned pay grade.
**A starting salary may be negotiated and will be commensurate with education training and experience in alignment with pay administration policies**
Nature of Work
Thefundamental reason this classification exists is to assist the Revenue BranchSupervisor in a variety of functions and complete tasks related to thecollection of ad valorem tax. The workresponsibilities are: performing administrative duties; maintaining inventory of manufactured homedecals supplies and records; performing customer functions; performing supervisoryduties of employees engaged in the collection of ad valorem taxes; and verifyingaccuracy of tax forms daily. Employeeswithin this classification report to the Revenue Branch Supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
Highschool diploma or GED and two (2) years of experience in the collection of advalorem taxes.
NOTE: Qualifying education training and experience thatprovide the requisite knowledge skills and abilities to perform the job willbe considered.
Special Requirements
Willingnessto work overtime and to travel out of the county to attend classes trainingseminars workshops and etc.
