Job Summary
This is a Community Service Work Study student employment position. Applicants must have Federal Work Study funds in their Financial Aid package. Were looking for a creative and detail-oriented Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to support our team in sharing our mission and engaging our this role youll help manage our social media accounts create compelling content and assist with digital marketing efforts. Youll play a key role in amplifying our impact through storytelling visuals and strategic communication. This is a part-time position (810 hours/week) ideal for someone with strong communication skills a passion for community engagement and an interest in social impact work. Youll gain hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing while contributing to meaningful change. You will be supervised by and collaborate closely with the Executive Director and report on campus to the Program Manager for Community Partnerships. Location : 225 NE 80th Ave Portland OR 97213 (10%) and remote (90%). Note: Student may not earn more than $2000 total in this position which equates to 118 hours worked between Fall and Spring semester.
Minimum Qualifications
Must have Federal Work Study fund in Financial Aid Package (contact with questions) Is majoring or minoring in marketing Has maintained a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
Preferred Qualifications
Strong writing editing and communication skills Familiarity with social media platforms and content scheduling tools Basic graphic design or video editing skills (Canva or similar tools) Organized dependable and able to work independently Interest in youth development or community-based work is a plus
