Now Hiring: Regulatory and Accreditation Specialist

Location: Kalispell & Whitefish Montana Logan Health

About the Role

In this highly visible role youll be the go-to expert managing accreditation readiness efforts for both Logan Health Medical Center and Logan Health Whitefish. Youll work side-by-side with our executive team and clinical leaders to ensure all clinics and departments from front desks to directors are prepared informed and compliant with DNV CMS and other regulatory standards.

Youll oversee the day-to-day operations of our proactive survey readiness program collaborate with national DNV contacts and serve as the primary liaison during mock and live surveys. You will be the person who holds others accountable drives performance improvement and ensures action plans are completed documented and sustained.


What Youll Be Doing

  • Lead and manage our DNV accreditation program for all hospital and clinic locations across the Flathead Valley.
  • Drive performance and follow-through by holding department leaders accountable to survey readiness milestones.
  • Actively walk through clinics and departments identify risks and work with managers to resolve issues before they appear on a surveyors radar.
  • Coordinate mock surveys survey command center operations and real-time survey responses.
  • Write and track corrective action plans educate leaders on regulatory standards and promote sustainable improvement.
  • Act as the liaison between Logan Health and DNV surveyors CMS and state regulators.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across Quality Risk Safety Compliance and Operations to ensure unified efforts.
  • Prepare organizational communication and education plans to ensure system-wide awareness and readiness.
  • Travel frequently between Kalispell Whitefish and all affiliated clinics visibility and presence are essential to success in this role.

  • Has the confidence to walk into any clinic or department unannounced and offer immediate actionable feedback.
  • Works independently with minimal supervision and thrives on problem-solving and follow-up.
  • Communicates with everyone from front-line staff to executives with clarity empathy and strength.
  • Is ready to help build a scalable sustainable accreditation program that will carry Logan Health into the future.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 7 years of experience in the healthcare industry primarily in acute care services.
  • Experience with regulatory and accreditation standards (e.g. DNV CMS Joint Commission) required.
  • 3 years in healthcare compliance and regulatory activities strongly preferred.
  • 2 years of project management and/or leadership experience preferred.
  • Must have strong writing skills and the ability to develop corrective action plans performance improvement strategies and regulatory reports.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn internal systems.

Bonus Skills

  • Prior experience leading mock surveys and managing survey command centers.
  • Experience with Leapfrog Oracle readiness or system-level quality programs.
  • Familiarity with both hospital and outpatient/clinic environments.

Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
