Job Overview: Seeking a Data Governance Analyst (Contractor) to support the implementation of the What Works Cities (WWC) Certification Program(Silver Gold and Platinum) within 1824 months. The analyst will manage assessment tasks track progress maintain certification dashboards and support the creation of a data governance framework in collaboration with the Data Governance & Compliance Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve WWC Silver Certification within 68 months of hire; provide a 90-day assessment if not feasible.
Coordinate with WWC and internal teams to complete assessment stages.
Track milestones manage documentation and maintain dashboards.
Support certification submissions and ongoing evidence uploads.
Develop program tracking systems and reporting structures.
Assist with communications change management and internal training.
Required Qualifications:
Experience in data governance compliance or program coordination.
Strong organizational communication and documentation skills.
Familiarity with performance dashboards change management and regulatory standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with What Works CitiesResults for America or similar government certification programs.
Familiarity with data-driven performance management in public sector environments.
Knowledge of Bloomberg Philanthropies initiatives or city innovation programs.
