Job Details
As part of the US Supply Chain - Manufacturer Operations & Data Services (MODS) team under leadership from the Vice President MOD the Manager Mfg Ops will perform functions that support Manufacturer compliance with the DSCSA including but not limited to: 1) Act as first responder and point of contact for manufacturers regarding data issues for inbound shipments from Manufacturers (suppliers) 2) Collect and analyze information from suppliers relevant to DSCSA 3) Support US Supply Chain Manufacturer Operations goals to ensure manufacturer compliance with federal regulations as well as Cencora packaging and logistics policies. 4) Assist in managing and tracking supplier logistics and product packaging issue to resolution to support distribution Services productivity goals 5) Support manufacturer scorecard initiatives by gathering the required data and producing the scorecards 6) Manage additional analysts as required to support the demands of Distribution Services.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and lead team of Analysts who will be monitoring inbound supplier shipments across the Cencora distribution network for DSCSA compliance.
- Perform first responder duties for all inbound supplier shipments where exceptions occur by creating and sending incident reports to our Manufacturer partners and tracking to resolution.
- Work with Distribution Operations and AmerisourceBergens manufacturer partners to track and resolve logistics and product packaging issues that affect operational productivity and/or compliance.
- Manage operations analyst(s) as manufacturer operations expands
- Implement process improvement opportunities either internally or externally with our pharmaceutical trading partners.
- Provide technical and analytical support to SGS team.
- Support the DSCSA serialized product phase across 450 manufacturers and 30 internal distribution centers including technical support and analyses of serialized labels and providing feedback and support to manufacturer partners.
- Additional responsibilities as determined by the Manufacturer Operations team.

Work & EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 yearsof experience in operations or supply chain preferably within thepharmaceutical industry.
- Proven experience inmanaging operational incidentsand resolution processes.
- Strong background indeveloping and improving business processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively withinternal and external technical and business teams.
- Hands-on experience withDrug Serializationor theDrug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) preferred.
- Solid understanding ofbarcode standardsand their application in pharmaceutical products.
- Proficiency inMicrosoft Word PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strongproject managementskills.
- Excellentoral and written communicationandpresentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or any other related discipline and equivalent related experience.
