Ensure adherence to safety rules. May assist passengers with boarding or exiting the Duties and ResponsibilitiesDrive multi-passenger vehicles to transport students and other riders for school and extracurricular the Bus Safety and Maintenance Checklist (form located on each bus) for every bus trip. This includes checking the condition of a vehicles tires brakes windshield wipers lights oil fuel water and safety equipment to ensure that everything is in working order. (Pre and post inspection as required by law). Inform the Fleet Coordinator or proper authority if the Bus Safety and Maintenance Checklist is not available on the bus prior to bus bus malfunctions or needed repairs must be reported to the Transportation with all traffic regulations in order to operate vehicles in a safe and courteous all safety rules according to the Vermont State School Bus Regulations as students or other riders are boarding and exiting the buses and as they cross the order among student riders during trips in order to ensure safety. For example handling complaints setting disputes and resolving any conflicts. Maintain knowledge of first-aid procedures and safety certifications as required by the bus interiors clean for passengers and present a positive school image. Type II license required to drive 14 passenger vans. Knowledge of relevant equipment policies procedures and strategies to promote effective transportation operations that protect people and Abilities: such as excellent depth perception reaction time far vision spatial orientation and the ability to concentrate without distraction.
