As the Regional Reliability Support Manager you will lead and manage all activities related to Reliability Support Operations in your assigned region. This includes overseeing technical training programs and delivering effective technical support to both equipment and service operations.
You will collaborate closely with Service Equipment Technical Services and Product Reliability teams to drive improvements in product quality and reliability. Your responsibilities will include:

Education:
4 year college level education with degree in a technical/business management discipline or equivalent.
Experience:
1. 10 years experience in technical management position within the elevator/escalator or related industry
2. Familiarity with electrical mechanical and hydraulic systems as applied in industry transportation and/or conveyance systems.
3. Experience or ability to learn PC database spreadsheet scheduling project management communication and word processing applications.
Essential Functions:
1. Responsible to direct and coordinate Technical Support and Technical Training to provide effective support services for all regional operations employees including equipment and service.
2. Evaluate technical issues arising in region and escalate as needed to national technical support.
3. Responsible to coordinate with and support the Technical Support group.
4. Responsible to support Technical projects within service and equipment as assigned
5. Implement training locally and regionally related to service and equipment to provide effective skill development for employees on KONE and non-KONE equipment.
6. Create and manage Regional Competency Center for selected technicians/adjustors.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Technical assignments related to trouble shooting process improvements advancement of utilization of technology project work and special pilot project assignments.
2. Participation in product and/or business reference groups.
3. Business operations troubleshooting assignments.
Specific Knowledge Skills & Behaviors:
1. Willing and able to travel with occasional extended over night stay.
2. Able to manage multiple concurrent tasks through effective organization and time management.
3. Excellent leadership management organizational written verbal communication and customer skills.
4. Excellent coaching and training skills both one-on-one and in a group/public setting.
5. Ability to read analyze and interpret general business and technical procedures or governmental regulations.
6. Ability to write reports business correspondence and procedures.
7. Ability to read construction drawings layouts and electrical hydraulic schematics.
8. Ability to effectively present business information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customer and the general public.
9. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
10. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions percentages ratios and proportions to practical situations.
11. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
12. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.

The hiring range for this role is $ 146800 201850.The compensation package offered will depend on the candidates ability to meet the requirements of the role and a range of factors unique to each candidate including but not limited to their skill set years and depth of experience certifications and location.
