A part-time lumber yard helper assists with the day-to-day operations of a lumber yard. Their tasks are varied and can change depending on the season and the specific needs that day. However some core duties are:
Loading and Unloading Materials: Helpers often move lumber and related products loading them onto delivery trucks or customer vehicles and unloading incoming shipments. This task requires strength attention to safety and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
