This role will manage a team of nurses and social workers who work in a variety of areas including clinics dialysis units and community spaces including the Micahs Mission YWCA and New Life Center.Summary
Manages clinical and non-clinical staff and nursing activities for an assigned department including patient care record-keeping budgeting and personnel issues.Job Description
Measures employee performance. Assists in the training of new staff members and the development of existing staff members. Provides nursing care to patients on an as needed basis. Serve as an active member and support to achieving clinic and clinical services strategic goals and initiatives. Serve as leadership to group/sub-groups working towards care management strategies at the local and enterprise level. Serve as nursing representation for designated programs promoting and integrating services within specific area. Oversee initiative and partnerships with identified resources working with an identified patient population for optimal outcomes.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in nursing required. Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred including but not limited to Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). For Rural Health Network facilities only employees who do not possess a Bachelors degree in the required field leadership may consider an educational plan with proven continuous action toward achieving a Bachelors degree in Nursing within five years of hire into position. Additionally for Rural Health Network facilities for current employees leadership may have considered acceptable qualifications and work experience equivalency based on facility size rural market and business need prior to new Sanford education requirements.Sanford is an EEO/AA Employer M/F/Disability/Vet.
