Job Description
CT Technologist Radiology Department
Location: Athena Medtech
Schedule: Monday to Friday 4x10 Hour Shifts 1:30 PM 12:00 AM
Hours: Full-time 40 hours/week
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
Athena Medtech is seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our Radiology this role you will play a critical part in producing high-quality diagnostic images to assist in patient evaluation and treatment planning. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented compassionate and experienced in operating advanced CT imaging equipment in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:-
Operate CT imaging equipment to capture accurate diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues.

Ensure proper patient positioning to optimize imaging results for the area of interest.

Conduct regular warm-up procedures to maintain the performance and longevity of imaging equipment.

Sterilize and maintain radiologic equipment in accordance with safety standards and infection control protocols.

Interpret and follow physicians scanning instructions with accuracy.

Administer contrast media as needed to enhance image quality and diagnostic clarity.

Evaluate images to ensure technical quality before submission to radiologists.

Clearly explain procedures to patients offering support and reassurance throughout the imaging process.

Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience as a CT Technologist.

Proficiency in operating CT imaging systems and understanding radiographic techniques.

Strong attention to detail and technical acumen.

Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of patient care and professionalism.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Current certification/license (if applicable to your state/region can be included if required).
