Job Title: Specialty Development Consultant
Location: Chennai
Work Type: Hybrid
Position Description:
- The new consultant shall take ownership of a highly specialised integration between SAP S/4 Hana ERP and Vertex OSeries tax decision services. His/her primary responsibility will include analysing the S/4 processes and data regarding tax decisions and manage the integration with Vertex OSeries on Demand.
- The analyst will be responsible to set-up and maintain the S/4 Vertex connectors Accelerator Accelerator CFA and SIC.
- This includes installation upgrading and configuration of the tools identifying and fixing issues and ensure accuracy and reliability of tax decisions.
- The agency must have advanced skills in SAP and Vertex technology in business analysis and the tax business.
- He/she must work closely with the S/4 teams and the (tax) business teams at the client.
- Advanced communication skills are essential to work in the Global team.
Skills Required:
- SAP S4 HANA Vertex Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP)
Skills Preferred:
- Requirements Analysis Agile Software Development IT Operations
Experience Required:
- Strong technical knowledge of Vertex tools-Accelerator CFA Accelerator SIC
- Implementation (user exits BADIs) configuration connectivity with Vertex OSeries on Demand.
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP S/4 Hana modules and integration with Vertex: Financial Accounting (AP GL AR FA) SD MM.
- 5 years of experience with Vertex and SAP implementations
- Advanced communication skills in English (written and oral)
Experience Preferred:
- Functional knowledge of SUT and VAT tax processes in North America Europe and Asia-Pacific.
- Technical knowledge of SAP S4/HANA including ABAP.
- Knowledge of tools: ALM Rally JIRA Vertex Test Suite.
- Proficiency in Agile processes.
- Ability to create functional and technical specifications for RICEFW enhancements.
- Experience as consultant in automotive business
- Business Analysis and Project Management
Education Required:
- Bachelors Degree
Education Preferred:
- Certification Program
