Job Description

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW

Job Description:

  • Support digital procurement team objectives planning and projects (focused on supplier and spend data & processes).

  • Responsible for spend data cleansing (e.g. Taxonomy Vendor Normalization.); closely working with AME Digital Procurement Management and partnering with Central Data Team & local Procurement Finance Teams.

  • Responsible for partnering with Category Management to ensure data accuracy of Contract Meta Data & Pricing w/in Americas Procurement Tools/Templates & Platforms.

  • Responsible for maintenance of referentials in Americas Procurement platforms/tools (e.g. Org Hierarchy CatMan to Taxonomy Listings etc).

  • Monitor data loads interfacing w/procurement tools/platforms to ensure operational efficiencies.

  • Responsible for supporting efforts for integrity of procurement data accuracy (e.g. OPEX/CAPEX INT/EXT etc.).

  • Support development and/or maintenance of Americas Procurement Tools / Processes Playbooks as directed by Digital Procurement Management.

  • Support Digital Procurement Team in transformational changes and continuous improvement of the Americas digital procurement tools/platforms.

  • Support Americas Data Owner(s) & Local Solution Owner(s) who represent the AME digital procurement tools/platforms.

  • Maintain strong lines of communication with Digital Procurement Management Group and Americas procurement teams; as well as Group and Hub Information Technology Teams.

  • Support enablement of digital procurement best practices at a hub and local level.

  • Spreadsheet data entry compilation and configuration/automation.

  • Contacts internal customers/stakeholders as needed to collect data.

  • Responsible for awareness of Procurement Blue Book policies to support compliance in Americas digital procurement.

  • Influence digital procurement consistency and alignment across Americas for routine digital business processes.

  • Provide assistance as directed performing discovery of industry best practices.

  • Support procurement digitization and process improvements to simplify the buying process (IE External research and benchmarking process mapping data analysis).

  • Below responsibilities are as required and directed by Digital Procurement Management.

  • Provide analytics and reporting.

  • Support special projects as identified.

  • Assist in developing presentations & communication.

  • Support training & testing of tools and/or processes as required.

  • Track progress of projects deliverables and/or budgets; escalating risks/issues as identified.

  • Coordinate necessary updates required for procurement tools/platforms.

  • Standardized KPI reporting as required.

  • General support of Digital Procurement tools/platforms

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Economics Finance Information Technology or and business related field required.

  • Minimum of 1 year of related digital procurement experience and/or finance business analysis and economic modeling experience or equivalent.
