Key Responsibilities:
General Accounting & Month-End Close
Review and validate general ledger entries including expenses and journal entries
Manage monthly close activities and ensure timely financial reporting
Reconcile accounts including prepaid expenses and fixed assets
Calculate and record monthly depreciation
Expense Management
Oversee employee expense reimbursements and corporate credit card transactions
Monitor compliance with internal policies and ensure accurate coding
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (monthly quarterly and annual)
Analyze financial data and generate reports such as balance sheets income
statements and management reports
Audit &Compliance
Support external and internal audits by preparing documentation and responding to
inquiries
Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal control procedures
Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures
Collaboration & Special Projects
Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy
Participate in ad hoc accounting projects and continuous process improvement
Provide guidance on accounting principles to internal teams
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field (required)
5 7 years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal control frameworks
Bilingual in Korean and English (required)
Experience managing multi-branch or multi-entity accounting (preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel (VLOOKUP PivotTables)
Experience with audit or review report preparation (highly desired)
Excellent communication organization and time management skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
