Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials in-process components and finished products.
Use precision measuring tools such as micrometres callipers and gauges to verify product dimensions.
Document non-conformances and generate inspection reports with corrective actions.
Ensure products meet regulatory standards and customer specifications.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
Conduct process audits and support root cause analysis for quality problems.
Monitor and calibrate inspection tools and equipment as per schedules.
Maintain records of inspections test results and quality assurance documents.
Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures and checklists.
Adhere to safety protocols and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering or a related field.
ISO 9001:2015 knowledge is an added advantage.
Certification in Quality Inspection or equivalent is preferred.
Strong knowledge of inspection techniques and quality standards (e.g. ANSI ASTM ISO).
Proficient in using inspection instruments (vernier calliper micrometre height gauge etc.).
Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Familiarity with MS Office ERP/QMS systems is preferred.
