Expediter (Expo)

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the timely and accurate delivery of food orders from the kitchen to the front of the house.
• Ensure all food orders are plated and garnished according to restaurant standards.
• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are complete and correct.
• Communicate with servers to ensure efficient flow of orders and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure that the kitchen remains organized clean and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Assist in the preparation and packing of takeout or delivery orders when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of expo area including wiping down surfaces and ensuring the station is tidy.
• Handle customer inquiries or requests as needed ensuring a positive experience.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced food service environment is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
• Must be dependable with excellent time management skills.
